As Eta Iota and Embry-Riddle continue to expand, the House Corporation and Chapter face new challenges in improving the house and providing for future contingencies . Over the last year, we have made significant progress in the infrastructure. In 2015, we have an equally aggressive project plan that not only continues upgrades to the infrastructure but also replaces and enlarges the north deck and stairs, refacing the front columns and replacing sandstone decking and stairs in the back

Enter Eta Iota’s 1855 Club. A simple, yet potentially substantial continuous-giving program to support regular contributions to a long-term improvement plan. (The 1855 Club is the fund referred to in the House Corporation bylaws as the Capital Improvement Fund.)

The principle is basic and you have several options:

  • If you prefer to have monthly payments, you will probably be interested in the simplest and most popular option – automatic drafts from your checking account. Ongoing contributions on a regular basis are both easier to commit to and will benefit Eta Iota on a continuing basis. With today’s banking options, you can simply provide the House Corporation with some basic information, and the amount of your choice will be automatically transferred on the 20th of each month.
A monthly option is also available with our PayPal subscription selection.
  • Many larger banks also offer their own form of scheduled payments where you can set up a monthly “push” of the amount of your choice to be deposited into House Corp’s account. Bank of America is one such bank that allows a program like this for automated, recurring payments. Contact your bank for more information. Recurring payments should be sent to the address listed on the Frequently Asked Questions page.
  • If you would rather make one payment annually, we would certainly appreciate that as well. Simply send a check for the full annual amount and your membership will mean just as much to the chapter.
  • If you prefer to pay in full by credit card, that’s just as easy too! Just click the corresponding button at the bottom of this page and follow the simple instructions:

Let’s Talk Numbers

The benefits are simple. With a balanced mix of on-going contributions of various amounts, the power of compounding interest can make this the primary source of funding for all potential options. We have raised over $140,000 with The 1855 Club and it continues to grow monthly. If we continue to increase membership, this will assist us tremendously as we make significant infrastructure improvements to ensure the long-term viability of the property. Realize, however, that we have an aggressive goal ahead of us and we need your support in this effort to make it work.  Please, sign up today, and provide your House Corporation the support it will need for tomorrow.

Join Now with Bank Draft

This method incurs fees of only 20 cents to the House Corporation, which is much lower than credit card methods. You may elect a single or reoccurring monthly payments in any amount, or use your own bank’s payment system (e.g., bill payer). Simply fill out this short form to get started.

Change/Cancel Bank Draft

To change/cancel your current contribution amount, resubmit the Bank Draft Form with updated values.

Using PayPal / Credit Card

Using PayPal incurs no fees to the House Corporation if you pay from your bank or PayPal balance. You may use the buttons below or send payments to the PayPal account: 1855club@etaiota.org

The House Corporation uses PayPal to process credit card payments. You don’t need to have a paypal account. Fees incurred by the House Corporation for credit card processing are about 3% of the donation amount.
