2023 Annual Meeting & Elections Notice

Greetings my Brother,
We hope this email finds you and your families well. Our annual House Corporation meeting will be held on Thursday, March 30th at 21:00 EST. Some members of the House Corporation will be present at the Chapter House for the meeting. We would like to invite any brothers in the area to join with us. For all those unable to attend in person, an email closer to the meeting date will be sent providing a Zoom link for live streaming.
The structure of the House Corporation is bicameral in nature: the Executive Board, which comprises the President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary, and the Board of Trustees, which comprises six members. The terms of the Executive Board are one year in duration, and the terms of the Board of Trustees are three years in duration. Two Trustees are elected each year in order to ensure continuity and overlap.
The House Corporation only works when our alumni base of over one thousand brothers actively participates and volunteers. We ask all those who are interested to submit their intentions to run for a House Corp position, by nomination, to hi.hc.sec@gmail.com. The nomination window will stay open for at least thirty days and will close one week prior to the annual meeting.
Once nominations are finalized, all contested positions will be sent out for electronic balloting, as we did in 2021. An email detailing that process will be sent closer to the date of the meeting. Please make sure your email is up to date via the etaiota.org database.
